We enjoyed the last few days of Indian Summer by strolling to SFMOMA to view the Cindy Sherman exhibition. She is one of our favorite artists, so we were excited to see her Film Still and Renaissance series, which are some of our favorite images by Sherman. Some of the other exhibitions that caught our eye were Tauba Auerbach’s 50/50 Floor exhibit of rotating fluorescent lights and black and white tiled flooring, which provided a wide open space for many a photo op. Jim Campbell’s Exploded Views featuring a cluster of lights hung over the atrium. When viewed at eye level on one of the balconies, you can see shadowy figures revolving in the chandelier sculpture of lights. It was a wonderful way to end our summer. -c.c.
