America’s Cup Goodies

The America’s Cup World Series – October 2012

America’s Cup World Series was back again in San Francisco and this time, better than ever! Some local shops such as “Susie Cakes” even celebrated the Cup by making special sailing goodies- cupcakes and cookies.

Not only was this AC World Series a hit but it was a jam packed weekend as San Francisco also celebrated the Blue Angels and Fleet Week. We had the chance to enjoy the celebrations as we witness the Blue Angels fly and Team Oracle USA win the Fleet Race!

With the SF Giants, The Oakland A’s, and The 49ers big season, Japanese Clothing Store Uniqlo opening in Union Square, and The America’s Cup….San Francisco in October is looking wonderful!

We can’t wait for America’s Cup Louis Vuitton Regatta in Summer 2013! Hope to see you there! -J.B.

America’s Cup World Series

Jerianne loves sailing! And we are so proud that the 34th America’s Cup will be held here in our hometown of San Francisco in 2013. We had the chance to enjoy the first A.C. event, the America’s Cup World Series – August, 2012. Of course, Oracle Team U.S.A. was the top favorite and we were cheering for Jimmy Spithill, Russell Coutts and the crew of USA and what an extraordinary day at the regatta! Here are some photos and a quick video Jerianne took on her iPhone. It truly was an amazing day at the races on the Marina Green on a sunny, perfect day!

Our little video made from Jerianne’s iPhone with Vampire Weekend’s “California English” as our background music.
